Piolo and Dingdong Competes for the Nickelodeon “RP Kids Choice Awards” Top Honors

Matinee idols Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes and three other male celebrities are in hot battle to be named the Favorite Actor in the first RP Kids Choice Awards conducted by youth-oriented cable channel Nickelodeon.

The Kids Choice Awards will start its Philippine version this year while it is already in the US for more than two decades. This will give Filipino Nickelodeon audience a chance to vote for their favorite stars, get together in an awards show and party with their favorite stars.

“As we have noticed in recent years, our Philippine market has been one of the most dynamic across the region,” Mr. Christopher James, MTV Networks SouthEast Asia general manager, said in an interview last week. “This is the reason why we have decided to haveone of Nickelodeon’s more popular event, the Kids Choice Awards, specifically for the Philippines,” he added.

Aside from Piolo and Dingdong, the nominees in the Favorite Actor category are: Gerald Anderson, John Lloyd Cruz, and Richard Gutierrez. Those nominated in the Favorite Actress Category are Angel Locsin, Iza Calzado, Kim Chiu, Marian Rivera, and Sarah Geronimo.

The winners will be announced in a grand awards ceremony to be held on Nov. 29 at the Aliw Theater, at the CCP Complex, Pasay City to be hosted by Michael V.

    Dba dapat ang deserving manalo is yung good example for the kids? yung mga walang dumi ang profiles, yung alang issues? hehehe

    DINGDONG DANTES, wlang issue since ngstart sa showbiz dba? wlang controversials, wlang kaaway, right?

    and most of all, HINDI BADING!!!! hahahaha!!!!
